In grade 12, I took photography as one of my electives. It had been an interest of mine for a long time and I wanted to learn more about it. My teacher that year told me I wasn’t very good and that I could never make it as a professional photographer. In his words “You don’t understand the basics of photography, so I wouldn’t recommend this as a career option.” So after graduating from photography school and starting a business 15 years ago, I say – get a load of these.
Here’s a look at my favourite images from 2011. I guess it just goes to show that if you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

Phew, that was a LOT of images to post! Here’s hoping you’ve made it this far, as I’d like to send a great BIG THANK YOU out to all my amazing clients. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your precious memories. To my family, thank you for your support and encouragement. To my friends, thank you for spreading the word about us. And to Eric, thank you for so many different reasons but most of all for believing in me. I look forward to see what the New Year holds, as I’m sure it will be even more fabulous! See you all in 2012.
