A look back on 15 years…

15 years. There was a time when I never thought I’d make it this far as a photographer. I was young when I finished school, just barely 20 (yup, I’ll be 35 this July). I was unsure of myself. I didn’t know if I had what it took to make it in this business. But as I look back now, I’m proud of what I’ve accomplished. I have photographed everything from bellies to babies to weddings and all sorts of stuff in between. I have travelled. I have grown. I have slowly given up film, but I miss it. I miss the anticipation of waiting to see what the images look like. I miss the days that I spent “turning into a mushroom” in the darkroom. But times change. People change. Babies grow up. So as we celebrate our milestone, I want to take a moment and thank all my clients. Thank you for trusting me with your special occaisions. Thank you for telling your friends about me. Most of all, THANK YOU for helping me live my dream!

Here’s a look back at some of my favourite images over the last fifteen years. By no means is this complete. We’d be looking at images FOREVER if it were. It also doesn’t include any of my favs from recent sessions…because you’ve already seen them posted on the blog! We wouldn’t want you to be bored, after all. Hope you enjoy my stroll down memory lane. Thanks again 🙂

One of my very first images after I graduated.

A little boy and his tractor. (He’s likely in his 20’s now!)

Can’t beat Vancouver on a Sunny Day!

LOVE babies, no matter how old!

Love his smile!

Gotta laugh…

So peaceful…

Yet, such a “little boy” two years later.

So sweet…

So Happy!

Giving me a taste of my own medicine!

Always looking for adventure…

Nothing better than being on the beach for some beautiful photos on your wedding day…when the groom decides to help a little boy dig a hole!

Feeling so free…

One of my very first maternity sessions!

Have a fabulous day and here’s to seeing you in another 15 years!
