I love the start of a New Year. It’s a blank canvas filled with endless possibilities and this year, I have one simple resolution… Be Happy. I’m sure this will take many forms over the coming year, but that’s it… just Be Happy.
Last night on Facebook, a friend had posted a simple image of a jar, with these words on it. “This January, why not start the year with an empty jar and fill it with notes about good things that happen? Then, on New Year’s Eve, empty it and see what awesome things happened that year.” They called it a Gratitude Jar and I thought it was a great idea. This morning, I’ve seen a lot of different variations on this and it solidified in me that this would be a lot of fun.
So I pulled out my biggest vase and already wrote my first note. A way to savour all the Happy Moments of the year!
Welcome 2013, I look forward to what you will bring to us this year!
