Have you ever had one of those days where you wake up and you feel so incredible that nothing can stop you? That’s what I felt like on Sunday morning. The weather was PERFECT, I’d had a great night’s sleep and I was still excited with the images that I’d captured on Saturday.
As we pulled into Deas Island Park for our session with Laura, Andrew, Lydia and Nathan, I couldn’t stop smiling. The fall colours and light were simply amazing. And then when I saw little Lydia hop out of her parent’s van, this beautiful mass of blond curls and smiles… I knew it was going to be a FUN session 🙂 And it was!
The lovely Lydia! Doesn’t she have the most amazing curls?
The adorable Nathan, with his favourite stick.
Apparently my obsession with feet, has now grown to include shoes. I couldn’t help but admire how CUTE Lydia’s shoes were.
I ask Eric to do very little retouching to my images, because I think the true magic of photography is capturing a person as they are. This leaves plenty of time for “playing.” I love this effect. What do you think?
One of my favourite images from the day. I think it captures perfectly a moment before this family of four will become a family of five!
Laura and Andrew, Thank you so much for braving the cool, crisp fall weather for your family photos. Lydia and Nathan are so precious and we had so much fun with your family. I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!
Keep Smiling 🙂
