I can hardly believe that it’s Thanksgiving weekend already. Where does the time go? Before we know it, Christmas will be here and then it will be 2012! There is a small part of me that wishes we could slow down time, as I sometimes feel I’m missing things because it’s all happening too fast. I realize that this is not possible, so instead, I try to savour all the little moments that make life so amazing. I also like to take extra time this weekend to express out loud the many things that I’m thankful for. I figure I can’t get much louder than writing it on a blog for anyone to read, so here it goes, my list of Thanks!
Eric – an amazing husband and father. I couldn’t ask for a better partner both in work and in life. We balance each other and this makes life much simplier. Thank you for loving me.

Ella and Tehya – my two beautiful little girls. So peaceful, relaxed and loving. It doesn’t hurt that they’ve both been sleeping really well, so I’m feeling almost human again! Thank you for being you.

My amazing family and friends who support me in the pursuit of my dreams. Laugh with me when I feel like crying and cry with me when it’s too hard to laugh. Thank you for being in my life.
My wonderful clients – old, new and not yet met! I’m grateful for your support in a career that I love. I’m so pleased to be able to share in and document precious moments in your lives. Thank you.
My health and the health of my family. My camera and all my lovely gear. The roof over my head, the food in my fridge, the chocolate in my cupboard. The clothes on my back and the shoes on my feet. I am so grateful for all the things in my life, both big and small. I feel so lucky to live the life that I’ve always imagined!
Since I believe that sharing what you are thankful for only helps it grow, I invite you to share what you’re thankful for. Post a comment below or on our Facebook fan page, before Monday October 10th at 10pm and you’ll be entered into a draw to win a free family portrait session. My gift of thanks to you 🙂
Happy Friday and Thanksgiving!
