Lisa’s Lunch

It’s not every day that someone comes into your life for a brief moment and changes it. This was the way it was for me with LJ (Lisa). She was someone I met through Camp Goodtimes. She was bright, funny and so full of life. Her personality lit up a room and her hugs were second to none. I did not know well, but her lust for life was contagious and made me want to live my life without fear. And so I did.

LJ also battled cancer and sadly, she passed away at the age of 39. Her friends have put together this book in honour of her memory. The story of how it came to be can be found on this website.

I decided that I wanted to help raise awareness about the book and the project, which is why I decided to give one away. It’s simple, all you need to do is post a comment about what inspires you. (I know, easier said than done sometimes!) You have until April 1st at 5pm to leave your comment and I will draw a name at random from all of you who’ve left a comment. I also encourage you to head over to the website, read the Lisa Lunch story and consider adding it to your library!

Happy Wednesday!
