This weekend, we celebrated Christmas with my family. Every other year, my siblings and I spend Christmas with our in-laws. For my brother, that means travelling to Mexico. It also means, that our Christmas is late. What it has meant for me is added time to reflect on what is so special about “Christmas Spirit”.
Part of the joy of Christmas is spending time with your family. Laughing, smiling, sharing. It’s building memories and eating good food. This weekend has left me feeling very lucky to have such great people in my life.
I want to share this feeling…with a random act of kindness. I have put together a basket of a few of my favourite things. All you need to do to win this basket is post a comment about something you have done recently (say in the last 6 months) that would qualify as a random act of kindness. I will choose a winner from all the comments received. Post your comment before January 31st, and the winner will be announced on February 2nd.
And, because I’d be curious, here are a few of the things you’ll find in the basket. (Some of the other things will remain a surprise and some will be customized for the winner!)
Homemade Blackberry Jam
The yummiest bread dip that I have ever tasted…
A friend gave me this when I first had Ella… and I loved it. So here’s some for all the tired moms out there!
I love this Burt’s Bees Hand Cream!
