When I woke up Monday morning to RAIN, I figured it would be another month before I’d manage to squeeze in Tehya’s two year portraits. After all, that’s what it’s been like lately in trying to capture them, never quite managing to find the time until it’s really “late”. Then add to that it’s fall and it’s Vancouver, which means the rainy season is upon us. So when the rain stopped in the early afternoon and the sun came out, I decided that it’d be best if we headed out right then!
I’m so very, very glad I did, as some of the images I was able to capture are a true reflection of my littlest one 🙂
The first thought that popped into my head when I saw this image was “We’re following the leader, the leader, the leader. We’re following the leader wherever he may go!” (in case you’re confused, it’s a song from Peter Pan!) I love how Tehya is ready to follow Ella wherever she will go. They make a great team.
I LOVE her sweet little face, and yes, I know I’m COMPLETELY biased!
This one LOVES to be outside 🙂
And sticks are VERY important for forest adventures!
I have no idea where this face comes from, but it’s one of the ones I see most often…
Climbing and exploring are so very important 😉
This image… makes my heart happy. I LOVE how much they love each other!
I know this is suppose to be all about Tehya… but I had to share this image of my sweet Ella. Two seconds later, she was telling me she was COLD and it was time to go!
She has the pout down so very well…
I just have to laugh when I see this one… all it takes is for me to threaten to tickle her and this grumpy face is replaced with a full belly laugh!
Since it was still nice out, we headed out again after dinner for a walk. I’m so glad we managed to catch the amazing light and this little cutie 🙂
As cliche as this may sound… not a day goes by where I don’t feel like the luckiest person in the world! I have two healthy little girls, an amazing husband, a solid roof over my head and a fantastic job 🙂 What more could a girl want?
