Tehya’s 7 months

I’ve started this post 4 or 5 times now. I write a few sentences, read it, decide it’s not right and start over again. And so it goes, round and round in circles. I think the problem is that I have so many thoughts in my head, but I don’t want to sound like a broken record and repeat myself! This would be the only challenge there is to doing monthly portraits… trying to write about it and keep it fresh 🙂

With each passing month, I am in awe of how fast time is flying by. How is it that Tehya’s 7 months old already? How is it possible that in a little over 6 weeks, I’ll also have a 3 year old? Why is it that I keep wishing time would slow down, but in the next moment, I can’t wait for the girls to be old enough that we can travel without the need to worry about nap times?

Tehya, you are an AMAZING little girl. Your giggle melts my heart and I love your smile. You are learning and growing so quickly, I sometimes worry that if I blink and I’m going miss something. You’ve taken to making this strange/funny sound while you’re playing. It’s like this little guttural grunting noise and I wish I could capture it on video. However, as soon as the camera comes out you stop! I guess I’ll just have to keep trying and hope that you don’t move onto something else before I can get it 🙂

You’re not quite sure if you want to laugh or cry!

Your hair is getting a little less crazy… but not much!

Just because I love feet. (Eric thinks this is VERY strange… )

It’s been challenging to get Ella to cooperate for photos lately, but I’m so glad I was able to get a few of the two of you together!

You love kisses from your big sister. You light up whenever she walks into the room… and you’re the first person Ella asks about in the morning when she wakes up. I can’t wait until you’re able to really play together!

Ella – with each passing day, I see more and more the wonderful person you are growing into. You are kind, thoughtful and generous. I love that you will still let us photograph you… even if it has to be on your terms. You make me smile every day and I am grateful.

Have a fabulous Monday! 😀
