Just a quick tip today… Framing. One thing that I love to do is to put “things” really close to the camera and let them go out of focus. In this image of Ella, I’m shooting right through the tree. It’s not a spot that most people would choose to photograph from, but under the right circumstances, it sometimes just works. In this shot, the blurry green around the edges gives the photograph depth. The out of focus leaves provide a foreground and some context for the rest of the image.
