Tuesday Tip – too dark?

Ever thought it was too dark to take portraits? Never! With the technology in digital cameras you can push your ISO very high and get pretty good results. Because high ISO causes noise, try converting your images to black and white. And, when taking low light candids, don’t worry about a little blur, it’s all part of the feeling in the photograph. Here are a couple of samples of very high ISO photography.

This profile of my dad, the same one as yesterday, was taken at 3200 ISO.

How about this image of Rob. Again 3200 ISO

So what do you get with high ISO? Digital noise and lots of “ugly pixels.”

And images that you never thought possible: 4000 ISO well after the sun had set.

Happy shooting, even longer!
