I thought I’d write today’s tip about inspiration.
French Aerial Photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand is one of my favourite photographers. His photographs and books tell a compelling story of our planet. The images are taken from the air and give us a new perspective. The photographs remind me to be a storyteller and to put my camera in more interesting places.
This image taken in Kenya is my favourite Yann Arthus-Bertrand photograph.
Yann also has a compelling TED Talk. Ted talks are another source of inspiration. TED’s “ideas worth spreading” consist of a series of lectures given by interesting people. My favourite photography related lecture is a 2007 talk about photography and technology. What makes this so interesting is that this 2007 idea is here now.
These are just two of the many things that inspire me. There are so many things in my life that are sources of inspiration. I think that inspiration is everywhere, we just need to recognize it.
What inspires you?
