Victoria Newborn Session with Noah!

I LOVE photographing newborns. It’s one of the best parts of my job. I love their sweet smell, their innocence and the fact that even though they are only a few days old, they each have their own unique personalities. I also love being able to get a cuddle in, without the commitment of midnight feeds or dirty diapers 🙂

On Saturday, we had the pleasure of meeting 15 day old Noah. You may recognize his mom, Nicole, from this session. I think you’ll agree, he’s simply beautiful and oh so sweet. It was SO HARD choosing just a few to share with you today, Noah was just so easy to photograph! (Just like his mom!)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Working with things that have sentimental value to my clients is so important to me. This beautiful quilt was made for Noah by his aunt. While you can’t see a lot of it in this image, it’s AMAZING!

Although you can’t see Noah’s face, I simply love how happy Nicole looks. She seems to have fallen into the role of mom with ease. (Oh, and she looks fantastic for just having had a baby two weeks ago!!)

All I see when I look at this image is two parents who are completely and utterly smitten with their little boy.

I LOVE how small Noah looks in Donnie’s hands and the look of awe on his face. He’s one proud dad!

I sometimes think Eric gets a little bored doing the very BASIC retouching that I like for my images. So every once in a while, he plays and comes up with something fun. Would love to know what you think of it!

I’ll finish off with one of my absolute favourites. Don’t you just want to give him a cuddle?

Thank you, Nicole and Donnie, for having me back. Noah is such a little sweetie and I hope things continue to go smoothly for you. I trust you will love these sneak peeks as much as I do!

Happy Victoria Day!
